Fundamentals Main Dashboard
The
main dashboard is your centre of operations. It provides
you with a quick overview of all your active programs,
a view to your schedule, the budget and hours as well
as displaying your current incomplete tasks, upcoming
events and a listing of your core team across all
your programs.
Navigational Tools
Fundamentals presents users with quick
access to all their program management needs from the
main navigational bar. My dashboard, calendar, manage
records (customizable template management), repository
(application wide data repository for assets and results
logging), archive (closed programs which you can restore
and clone) as well as help and logout.
Data Library
Fundamentals keeps track of all your assets
and records in
the data library. This is where you will locate any file,
template or record you have created within the system.
Calendar View
The Fundamentals calendar gives you high level view
of
upcoming programs deliverables, milestones and events.by
day, week, month and by project. All views can by
filtered to
show only the information of a certain kind, from a certain
program, by status and if you are a manager you can
even filter by employee.

Calendar day view allows “click.to.edit” functionality
for any
item in the day view. Simply click on an event.
My Accounts
List
The my accounts list is simply a listing of user
defined groups of contacts. You create an account and
then add contacts to that account. It.s a great way to
quickly see a
collection of contacts at a single time. You can filter
by
person, program, status and due date.
Creating a New Program
Fundamentals makes it easy to build,
customize, store and reuse program processes. Its innovative
program composer makes it a snap to create a program.
Fundamental. process (s) that conforms to the way you
work.
Program Lists
The my programs list shows not only complete listing
of
all your open programs but also allows you to filter
programs by client, account, owner, type and status.
The
list also employs a colour coding system to identify
programs that are behind (red background) or ahead
(green background) of schedule . a very quick way to
get
a feel for all you are involved in.
Program Manager
Every active program has an associated program manager
site. This gives program participants easy access to
view/edit/delete or add all the fundamentals of the
program including plan, proposal, business case, brief,
concepts as well as create the team, a repository, talk
(team communications) and a program log. These
program fundamentals allow collaborative teams to excel
and work together through a single environment.
Program Composer
The backbone of any program, project
or campaign is the process behind it. The program composer
allows you to build your process stage by stage through
the use of user customizable stage templates. You can
also create your own stages |

Sliding Panels
Along the right side of your Fundamentals screen, we
have positioned 6 often used functions in sliding panels.
These panels provide users with quick access to your
alerts and notifications, task list, event list, a data
inspector and the
advance search. Just click a tab and its right there.
Todays Fundamentals sliding panel
Todays Fundamentals gives you an overview of your day,
tasks, events, deliverables and meetings. By default
it shows you everything across all programs but it also
provides drop down menus to filter the content types
it displays and a filter by specific programs.
My Contacts List
Fundamentals knows the importance of
people to any program. Thats why it shows you more information
about each contact in list view, allows you to link to
corporate contact directory systems and outlook exchange
servers, on top of allowing you to create your own contacts
through create menu. You can filter your contact list
in any number of ways filter by department, by program
or account.
Program Plan, Schedule and Spend
The program plan allows you to create and manage the
activities, schedule and spending requirements for the
current program. The schedule provides a quick representation
of the project timeline (month or weekly view). Both
the schedule and the
spend can be filtered by task, lead, department or channel.
Program
Stages
You decide the stages for a program and you can
customize the templates for each stage. The templates
for
a proposal, business case, brief or a concept are easily
edited by the user to suit all programs or for each program.
You can create new ones for a new stage. All stages record
and store the written or visual content, all attachments
and
reviewer comments and approvers approval.
The Proposal
Is where the idea is outlined, defined and
presented.
The Business Case
Allows you to define the
value to the business.
The Brief
You may need a marketing, product, research
or any type of project brief. The Concept
The creative, the prototype . it is easy to see. Simply
upload
and view. Fundamentals will track the time it was uploaded,
who and number of concepts.

An easy to understand timeline in Gantt chart view of
status/progress.
Program Team
To
make it easy to connect with your team, Fundamentals
aggregates all the contacts and resources you have added
to the program or stage of the program into a program
contact master list. It is separated into your internal
and
your external contacts. For easy use you can filter by
keywords, department or by type.
Fundamental Alerts
Fundamentals keeps you informed and
up to date with event-based alerts. Events such as saved
or completed tasks, missed deadlines, meeting reminders,
sign off.s etc.
are all presented as a pop up and archived into the
alerts/reminders sliding panel. Alerts can also be forwarded
to your email account or to your blackberry. |
